Master Bedroom Design

The master bedroom is one of the most important parts of a home. At times, it is the heart of a house, the central focus of a home. The parents or the head of the family sleeps here.
This is the special chamber. In considering master bedroom design, a standard would be opulent décor and a great big bed.
In almost all master bedrooms, the bed is one of the special pieces. Master bedrooms are usually warm and intimate in feel.
You may choose from a variety of queen-sized beds. For a beautiful effect, you can choose one with posts. They may have curtains as accent or some beads for an eclectic effect.
Another special piece usually found in a master bedroom is a handsome piece of furniture like a dresser or a cabinet. You can have a big one to house your clothes, prized possessions or a television set.
A master bedroom design should work around some large special pieces. This is a challenge when you have to work on a small space. If this is so, you would have to keep the pieces minimal and simple. You would just have to leave the other furniture for the other rooms.
But of course, you should not let the room look bear. There should be some hint of color. If your walls are white, then you should have at least a piece of artwork hanging on the wall. An interesting travel piece is also a great addition – like a tribal woodwork or a festive and elegant headdress.
Just make sure that everything jives. Proportion is also important to consider. Because you have a large bed, your other furniture should not be dwarfed by it.
If you cannot put in large pieces, make sure they are tall to complement the width of the bed. Lastly, the master bedroom design should connect with the room owner.
